Workshop on the Importance of Breastfeeding Held at Ashadeep, Vidyanagar

A workshop on the topic "The Importance of Breastfeeding" was conducted on December 13, 2024, at the Ashadeep Human Development Center in Vidyanagar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from lactating mothers and ASHA workers from several villages, including Napa Vanta, Vahera, Kavitha, Davol, Bodal, Dedarda, Pamol, Singlav, Alarsa, Virsad, Santokpura, and Dahemi of Borsad Taluka.

Organized as part of the Poshan Project, the workshop featured renowned speakers, Dr. Rashmin Cecil from Killol Hospital, Anand, and Dr. Ritvi Joshi from CVM Homeopathic Hospital and College. Both medical experts delivered informative and engaging sessions, educating the attendees about the critical importance of breastfeeding in a simple and relatable manner.

The women actively participated in the discussion, voicing their concerns and queries regarding breastfeeding and related challenges. The speakers provided comprehensive and satisfying answers, addressing their doubts effectively.

The event was graced by the presence of Ashadeep's staff members, who supported and encouraged the participants throughout the program.
